We're here to help you get the most out of PropTradeBot.
Install the PropTradeBot Connector from the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" and you're done. The extension automatically detects trading signals in Discord and Telegram. Prefer TradingView? Point a TradingView alert at your PropTradeBot webhook instead — no extension needed.
Make sure PropTradeBot is running on your Mac and the server URL in the extension matches (usually http://localhost:5555).
Currently PropTradeBot is macOS-only. Windows support is on our roadmap.
Email support@proptradebot.com and we'll cancel immediately. Your access continues until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and never store your broker credentials. All API keys are encrypted at rest. Your trading bot runs locally on your Mac — signals and orders never pass through our servers.
PropTradeBot works with signals from TradingView (webhook), Telegram, or Discord. The bot auto-detects entries, trims, and exit signals from your chosen source — no special formatting required.
The bot stays connected and ready. If a signal arrives while the market is closed, the order will be rejected by your broker — no risk of unintended fills. The bot logs the rejection and continues monitoring.
Yes. PropTradeBot runs locally on your Mac and must be awake to receive signals and execute trades. We recommend disabling sleep mode during trading hours (System Settings → Battery → Prevent automatic sleeping). The bot will reconnect automatically when your Mac wakes up.
PropTradeBot supports Topstep (ProjectX); Tradeify, Lucid, and Take Profit Trader (Tradovate); and Bulenox (Rithmic) — plus any native Tradovate firm using your own credentials. Just pick your firm in the guided setup and PropTradeBot configures the connection for you. Don't see your firm? Let us know at support@proptradebot.com.
Setup guides are available in your dashboard after signing up. For additional help, email us anytime.
