We're here to help you get the most out of PropTradeBot.
Install the PropTradeBot Connector from the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" and you're done. The extension will automatically detect trading signals in Discord.
Make sure PropTradeBot is running on your Mac and the server URL in the extension matches (usually http://localhost:5555).
Currently PropTradeBot is macOS-only. Windows support is on our roadmap.
Email support@proptradebot.com and we'll cancel immediately. Your access continues until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and never store your broker credentials. All API keys are encrypted at rest. Your trading bot runs locally on your Mac — signals and orders never pass through our servers.
PropTradeBot works with any Discord-based trading signal. The bot auto-detects entries, trims, and exit signals from your Discord channel — no special formatting required.
The bot stays connected and ready. If a signal arrives while the market is closed, the order will be rejected by your broker — no risk of unintended fills. The bot logs the rejection and continues monitoring.
Yes. PropTradeBot runs locally on your Mac and must be awake to receive signals and execute trades. We recommend disabling sleep mode during trading hours (System Settings → Battery → Prevent automatic sleeping). The bot will reconnect automatically when your Mac wakes up.
Currently PropTradeBot supports Topstep (via ProjectX API). We are actively working to add support for additional prop firms. If you have a specific firm you'd like us to support, let us know at support@proptradebot.com.
Setup guides are available in your dashboard after signing up. For additional help, email us anytime.
