Your PropTradeBot API Key connects the app on your Mac to your account. Keep it secret.
Lost it? Generate a new one: it replaces the old key, so paste the new one into the app's setup page (localhost:5555/setup) afterwards.
How to use your API key:
Paste this key into the PropTradeBot setup wizard where it asks for your PropTradeBot API Key. Download the app below, open it, and visit: http://localhost:5555/setup

In TradingView: create an alert on your strategy → Notifications → paste the Webhook URL above → in Message, paste this exactly:
Test first: use this message once to check the connection. PropTradeBot records it and sends nothing to your bot. Then switch to the message above.
Symbols like MES1!, MNQ1!, ES, NQ are auto-detected. {{strategy.order.action}} auto-fills buy/sell; for indicator alerts, replace it with a literal "buy" / "sell" / "flat".
This app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. No Gatekeeper warnings on first launch.
Open the .dmg, drag PropTradeBot to Applications, and launch.

In the 📈 TradingView Strategy card above, click Generate Webhook. Send the Test first message once (it never reaches your bot), then ask the setup assistant below whether it arrived.
