How to auto-trade Discord signals on Topstep

PropTradeBot reads your signal provider's Discord channel in Chrome and turns each entry and exit call into orders on your Topstep accounts. Every trade gets a stop, your trims and a runner, and it's flat by your end-of-day time. It's a Mac app, and you teach it your provider's message format once.

Why I built it

The calls kept landing while I was at work. More on that here.

How it works

  1. Install the PropTradeBot Connector for Chrome. It reads the Discord channel you have open. Nothing else.
  2. Teach the app your provider's format. Paste one real entry message (like ES Long 7712) and one exit message (like all out). From then on it trades only messages that match. A message that could mean two things is never traded.
  3. Start in Shadow. The app logs what it would have traded without placing anything. When the log looks right, switch the provider to Live.
  4. Keep Chrome open on the channel while you trade, and keep the app running.

Each call becomes one market entry with a stop on every position, then T1 and T2 trims and a runner, using your own sizes, targets and stops. One signal can trade several Topstep accounts, directly or through Topstep's Trade Copier.

What it won't do

What you need

Check the rules first. Following Topstep's rules is your responsibility. Read Topstep's automation rules before you go live. Topstep doesn't approve or endorse PropTradeBot, and PropTradeBot isn't affiliated with any signal provider.
